Before you submit anything
Good questions deserve clear answers.
The site covers three different topics, but the boundaries around advice, consent and privacy stay the same.
What exactly is MyCoverMap?
MyCoverMap is designed as an educational and lead-referral platform covering investments, general financial guidance and life cover. It does not itself issue insurance policies or replace personalised advice from an authorised financial-services provider.
Is the 18% investment return guaranteed?
No. The calculator models an 18% p.a. rate for illustration. Any real investment is subject to its approved product documents, risks, fees, tax, liquidity terms and suitability assessment. Past or illustrated returns do not guarantee future results.
Is the life-cover calculator a quote?
No. It is an illustrative household estimate only. A formal quotation can only come through the relevant insurer or authorised financial-services process.
Do I have to give my cellphone number to use the life-cover calculator?
No. The result appears before the optional adviser callback form.
Can the financial-guidance page give me personalised advice?
No. The page helps you organise the question you want to discuss. Personalised recommendations must come from an appropriately authorised adviser after considering your circumstances.
Who gets my details if I ask for contact?
The enquiry is routed only after you consent, to the authorised adviser or FSP identified in the consent wording shown with the form.
Does requesting contact mean I agree to future marketing?
No. The enquiry consent and future marketing consent are separate. Any marketing checkbox should remain optional and unticked by default.
What data does Google Analytics receive?
If you allow analytics cookies, we can send page and funnel events such as calculator started, calculator completed and lead generated. We do not intentionally send your name, phone number or email address to Google Analytics from the lead form.
Can I ask for my personal information to be corrected or deleted?
Yes, subject to applicable legal and record-retention requirements. See the Privacy & POPIA Notice for the contact details and process.
